MoTeC GPA-DI firmware license for MoTeC M1 ECU

MoTeC's GPA-DI firmware is a versatile and adaptable platform for the operation of direct injected engines up to twelve cylinders (hardware dependent), in applications that do not require advanced functions such as staged injection, anti lag, traction control and launch control. This single product can be configured over a huge range of complexities, from controlling a simple engine to a quad cam boosted engine. Configurable engine synchronisation modes accommodate most modern engine triggering systems.

Included are numerous ancillary features common to race cars, such as driver switches, knock control, intercooler sprays and gearbox coolant pumps. It also caters for many systems found on modified road vehicles that may be useful in a racing context, such as air conditioning control.

This firmware is available across MoTeC's range of M1 direct injection ECUs (M122, M141, M142, M181 and M182). The product provides pre-defined CAN messaging for full integration with other MoTeC products like Display Loggers, Video, Power Distribution Modules, Expanders, Shift Lights and more.

Features

  • Operates gasoline direct injected engines from 1 to 12 cylinders with inductive injectors and synchronous direct injection fuel pumps (M142 suits up to 8 cylinders, M122 up to 4 cylinders). Refer to the Engine Compatibility section for known applicable engines.

  • Configurable top dead centre for each cylinder allows for odd-fire engines

  • Configurable on-board knock for each cylinder with up to 4 assignable knock sensors (hardware dependant) and selectable centre frequencies

  • Configurable camshaft control from 1 to 4 cams, plus 1 switched camshaft

  • Dual bank lambda control supported; requires optional LTC with Bosch LSU4.9 sensor or LTCN with NTK sensor

  • Optionally configurable secondary (port injector) fuel control with a tuneable balance table.

  • Nitrous system with two activation stages and additional fuel pumps, bottle heater control and pressure sensor

  • Turbocharger wastegate pressure control with pressure sensor and two PWM outputs

  • Configurable turbocharger boost control (using a normal and inverted solenoid output)

  • Idle closed loop control system using ignition, drive by wire actuation or idle solenoid

  • Configurable security for multiple users

  • Dual bank drive by wire throttle servo control

  • Like anything, the MoTeC M1 requires knowledge and experience to gain the best results. While we are happy to answer technical questions, purchase of this M1 firmware does not come with unlimited tuning support. We can quote tuning for your particular setup, refer you to someone in your area, or if you prefer to do it yourself (and lack the experience) then we can also quote training.

  • This firmware is for closed course competition vehicles only. It does not meet federal emissions requirements.
